Do you or a loved one feel called to become a full member of the Catholic Church?
That is wonderful! The community of St. John's will be happy to welcome you or that person into the Body of Christ.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for adults who:
- who have never been baptized
- were baptized in another Christian church
- were baptized in a Catholic church as infants but never had any religious education or received First Communion
Normally this process, during which the person learns about Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith through the witness of a caring group of members of St. John's parish, begins each year in the fall and ends shortly after Easter.
Adults who were baptized in the Catholic Church and who have received First Communion may also be prepared for Confirmation with this group or with separate learning group, depending on how many have this need. Please contact the parish office to register in the parish, to begin the interview process and to learn more.

Los adultos que fueron bautizados en la Iglesia Católica y que han recibido la Primera Comunión también pueden prepararse para la Confirmación con este grupo o con un grupo de aprendizaje por separado, dependiendo de cuántas personas tienen esta necesidad.
