Being an Altar Server means serving God and his people at Mass by assisting the priest and deacon. As servers give of themselves to help the priest and people worship better, they also receive God's help and blessings. Servers are ministers. In order to become an Altar Server children must have made their First Communion and be at least 10 years old.
If an adult wishes to become an Altar Server he/she must be in good standing with the Catholic faith, and if married, must be in a valid marriage through the Catholic Church.
Training is provided by Stephanie Guzman, Coordinator of Altar Servers.

Ser un Servidor de Altar significa servir a Dios y a su pueblo en la Misa ayudándole al sacerdote y al diácono. Como los servidores dan de sí mismos para ayudar al sacerdote y para que la gente adore mejor, también reciben la ayuda y las bendiciones de Dios. Los Servidores son ministros. Para convertirse en un servidor, niños deben haber hecho su Primera Comunión y tener al menos 10 años de edad.
Si un adulto desea convertirse en un Servidor de Altar él/la debe estar en buenos términos con la fe Católica, y si es casado, debe estar en un matrimonio válido a través de la Iglesia Católica.
